Our weekend didn't turn out as planned. We got the sad sad news on Friday night that Uncle Tommy in Eugene passed away. Grandma and Grandpa turned around the next morning and headed back to Minnesota to be with Grandma Shirley and to get ready to head out again in a few days. More later about Tom and all he has been to us with his crazy antics and his abundant family love. But for now, enjoy a little comic relief with Lucy and Grandparents shaking their dancing hips and their dancing arms. Lucy's Oregon t-shirt is a shout out to the biggest Ducks fan ever, Uncle Tom.

These pictures make me think that being a grandparent must be the best gig in the world. My parents have told me as much, but these pictures confirm it. Nice to see people just being happy together - it's infectious!
