Lucy's school was closed for inservice on Thursday and Friday, so Sheri and Lucy and Claire and Jodey (a friend from school and her mom) visited the Omaha Children's Museum together. The girls had a GREAT time exploring the place and the moms enjoyed chatting and seeing how much fun they had and how well they got along. We all ended up buying memberships and plan to go again many times this winter.
The girls climbed and jumped and drove and took turns and splashed and held hands all morning long. They were very cute.
That Saturday, the dads joined in for dim sum at a restaurant that Claire and her parents recommended. Lucy and parents were all adventurous and enthusiastic eaters (of course) and Lucy learned to say, "yum, yum, dim sum!" We were very grateful to our friends for introducing us to what will surely become one of our new favorite eating places in Omaha.
