Wowing her fans at 3 weeks, Lucy has started smiling (and not just in her sleep). Auntie Angel was lucky enough to catch one of these first winning grins on camera. In addition to smiling, Lucy's generally just getting more expressive, wide eyed, and interactive. These are great traits at all times except for around 3am... Here are a few other 3 week poses for her admirers.

Notice that in the second smile pic her onesie says, "My Aunt Loves Me," which seems to be the theme of this past week. Lucy's had several special Auntie visitors--some biological, and some adoptive. Our dear friends Boo & Lori from Tuscaloosa days (who now live 3 hours away from us in Lawrence, Kansas) were here last weekend, lavishing lots of love on our Lucy.
Then, because Lucy just can't get enough Auntie love, Sheri's sister, Angel, arrived on Tuesday from Salt Lake City.
Lucy LOVES her Auntie Angel, who has become quite a pro at calming her down when she's fussy. She's also quite skilled at baby massage, which the picture below shows was quite a hit with our girl.
So, the aunties offer a challenge to future visiting uncles--just SEE if you can be in Lucy photos as adorable as these!

she is adorability.
Love,
Boo
Did I mention that she smiled at me in person? :)
There are many firsts, enough to go around. I like collecting the more esoteric firsts with Nellie. As in the first time she put her foot in her poo. Or the first time she farted as loud as an adult. Or the first time she sneezed and hiccuped at the same time. All important developmental milestones.

Or the first time Lucy made bubbles in the bathtub or peed on daddy's shirt or pooped in the towel while being carried back to her room after her bath. . .
