A Day to Remember
Lucy and mama decided to call in patriotic and stay home today. Chad and Erika came over and we altered Lucy's now obsolete bib (that Chad had given her when she was born, btw). There wasn't a dry eye in the house as we watched the festivities. Sheri and Erika and Chad were teary because of the events, and Lucy was teary because Sheri thwarted her desire to turn the TV off 3 minutes into the inaugural address. But no worries, all of us were happy again after lunch when we ate the treat Chad brought. Best.cupcakes.ever!
