The cold is &$*&^#. . .perfect?!?

Brrrr...it's horribly cold here. Nathan and Sheri have been complaining about the cold and Lucy, the Nebraska native, has the nerve to ARGUE with us about it! When a blustery Nebraska wind is blowing, she is fond of saying, "the wind is perfect" (except she says puh-fect). Yesterday, she told Sheri things like, "I LIKE the cold" and "It's not TOO bad." Today (it was about -10 out this morning), she started in with how perfect the cold was on the way to school and Sheri said, "no, this cold is NOT perfect. It's ridiculous. And it's so cold outside that it's dangerous." Then she tried to get Lucy to say the word "ridiculous." Lucy declined to practice this new word, and she thought about the situation for a moment and then retorted, "well, it's a LITTLE bit puh-fect to me!" Whose child is this?

Well, at least she won't want to move to a warmer climate when she gets older!
