Gone Native!
Q: What do you do with a 35 degree Saturday morning when you've just been through a couple of days of frigid "why the hell do we live here?" negative ridiculous temps?
A: Why, go to the park to go sledding, of course!

The park visit started normally enough. We did some sledding.
We made a snowman.
But then, Lucy said, "I want to swing!" The parents' knee-jerk response was, "no, we can't swing in the snow." Lucy pressed the party poopers, and we looked at each other and said, "Actually, why can't she?" Afterwards, she went on to the teetertotter. We made the first footprints on the playground and are new converts. And why not? If you are bundled up and you are at the park anyway...might as well swing. That's how we roll now that we've gone native.

this is a little pur-fect to me!

we are in new orleans (where the natives think it is cold but we consider it balmy) and just got lucy a hat--a jester's hat is what i would call it but i'm not sure what the official name is--she will love it, i think! we will probably hold it and give it to her in person next time we see ya'll..which, when can that be?

love,
boo & lori

Snowangels?

Oh yes, there was a snowangel. But Lucy's kinda bored of those, since she's done a lot of them in the front yard.
