So, mama was playing with Lucy's hair the other morning when the following interchange ensued:
Mama: I bet your hair will be long enough for pigtails soon.
Lucy: No, PONYtails.
Mama: Ponytails? How do you know about ponytails?
Lucy: Arianna have ponytails. Lucy want ponytails. Right now.
Well, we didn't have teeny tiny ponytail holders right then, so it had to wait until today. They are a bit crooked, since Lucy doesn't want to hold still. But she loves them. We've been taking them out and putting them in all day in all sorts of configurations. We aren't crazy about the fact that you can't see her curls as well, and about the fact that they make her look older. But I have a feeling this is her new favorite for awhile. Combined with the phone, we got a little glimpse into her tween years...

Looks like you have your hands full, both now & in the future! WOW visitor 5700 here! Wish Morgan's hair were long enough to put in ANYTHING! Oh well, one day! Lucy looks more like a short 5 year old in this picture tha a mature 2 year old!
