Lucy had a great first Easter--complete with fancy pink dress, church, plastic egg hunt, and a visit from the grandparents. Grandma was disappointed that Lucy's doctor recommended against Easter candy this year, but Lucy was very excited to crawl around and find her plastic eggs (filled with pasta and other things to make noise when she shakes them).

Happy Easter from Lucy!

Other exciting events this past week included the long awaited appearance of her two bottom teeth, progress on hands and knees crawling, more consistent and enthusiastic waving, a trip to the zoo (favorites were the aquarium and the gorillas), her first meat (deli turkey) and cheese (mozzarella), and a good report with no shots at the 9 month doctor checkup. Lucy gal is 20 lb 14 oz (80%) and 30.5 inches (off the charts)! Consider this little photo montage of her morning Lucy's Easter gift to you... Oh, and if you want to see the teeth poking through, click on the easter dress picture to enlarge it and get a close up view!
