Auntie Angel returns!
Lucy had a great week enjoying the second visit from Angel (Sheri's sister from Salt Lake City). The girls bonded for 3 days and Lucy really loved learning some new games and generally just soaking up the extra attention. Angel works in a spa, so she used some of her mad skillz on Lucy, who we fear will soon start demanding facials and pedicures as well.

The poor little gal is not at her best these days. We think she might be teething, although we're not sure. At 4 months she's a little young for it, but it's not unheard of. Sometimes we think we see something and sometimes we can't tell--and Lucy's not keen on letting us look at her gums. The sitter thought she saw a spot on her lower gum a couple of weeks ago, so we started investigating the symptoms and she seems to fit the description perfectly: she's drooling like crazy, biting on everything, she's fussier than usual (although not inconsolable), she has rosy cheeks, she has her first diaper rash, and she's waking up 2-3 times at night when she previously had slept 8-10 hours at a stretch. How long does it take for a tooth to pop out, though? It's been over two weeks so we're starting to doubt the diagnosis. Maybe some of you experienced parents should tell us what you think and what we should do to help her.


Last but not least, I could not pass up the chance to post this picture. Auntie Angel likes to take all manner of posed pictures and, well, sometimes it's a little hard on her subjects.
