Welcome to the Jungle!

Last week Sheri's Aunt Marianne and Frank visited us from Texas. We had a great visit, complete with an outing to Lucy's favorite ice cream shop and a tour of the zoo. Marianne also got to be one of Lucy's guests at her school mother's day party. This pic was taken by another friendly visitor to the very awesome jungle exhibit. Marianne and Frank babysat Lucy Friday night while Nathan and Sheri went to see Wicked, which was AWESOME.

Besides all the fun things to do here, we love living in Omaha because of all the travelers passing through. We're on your way to lots of places. So when you have the hankering for a roadtrip across the country, just know that there is a sweet family in the midlands with a guest room and we're just ready and waiting to have you sleep in it. Or, at least, we CAN be ready with at least a few hours notice. : )
