It all started when Lucy and Ruby were fighting over one of Nathan's baseball hats on Friday night. Sheri was going to get out another baseball hat when she remembered her stash of hats in a storage closet, saved for such a time as this.
At some point in the past, they were a part of a quirky home decor project. Now they live in a rubbermaid box in Lucy's room. We suppose they are still a little too young for Sheri's old prom dresses or Nathan's old band uniform, but those are safely tucked away for future little girl use.

Pretty darn cute! If you want more baseball hats David has about 50 that he left behind and says he doesn't want them so help yourself this weekend.
Love,
Dad
Anyone else curious about the "quirky home decor project" involving these hats?
They were part of a window treatment in our "antiques" guest room when we lived in Alabama. I bought them in a lot from ebay for maybe $10 total. It was kind of quirky/trading spaces-esque. I didn't find a place for them in our Omaha decor, so they are getting a new (better) life.
How cute! I want to play too! Now all she needs are some sparkly shoes

I kinda liked the bucket-hat look myself. Ah, well.
Glad your family is so creative! We miss y'all.
