Lucy loves a parade

Today is "Dundee Day," a nearby neighborhood celebration (note to people who have visited--it's where we go to get ice cream). After weeks of oppressive heat and/or torrential downpours, the weather is sunny and perfect so this morning we took Lucy to Dundee to see her first parade. Above, Lucy waits patiently for it to start.

Here Daddy gives Lucy a better view of the marching band. After they passed by, Lucy did her baby sign and also said "more":

Kind of a rough crowd at Dundee Day...Lucy left with a tattoo...

We're going back this afternoon after naptime to see "Mr. Stinkee Feet" perform. It'll be Lucy's first live concert. Have we mentioned lately that we love Omaha? It's just one of those great days...

She looks like she picked up some attitude at Dundee Day along with that tattoo--watch out!

Looks like a great time! Thanks for sharing.

How did the concert go?

Give my love all around,

I love Lucy in the glasses! Of course she would love the marching band, didn't Nathan tell her he played the French Horn?

Those pictures are great, you are such good photographers. Of course Lucy is so cute, I don't think there could be a bad picture taken of her!
I am glad you are so happy with Omaha.
Love, Aunt Mari

Rough crowd? You mean Republicans at Dundee Days? Republican or not, Lucy still is the cutest participant ever. Love, Grandma

Tell me about the tatoo crowd! Was it some bad elements from Idaho(my home state) that snuck in? I understand they have a bathroom stall strategy!

The rough crowd was comprised of a mother/daughter team selling cookies and tattos for a $1 each to benefit the local elementary school. I don't know if they were republicans, but I didn't notice any lewd behavior.
