This Blog Has Been Hijacked! By Godmamas with a password!
Yes, it is true. Make someone a Godmama and watch them take over the world!@!
While Sheri was enjoying Lake Weekend with the girls, Nathan, Lucy, and Sojo were chilling out with the Godmamas in Lawrence. Much fun was had by all, especially Nickie, the Godmamas' 13 year old dog, who was quite enamored of Lucy. Luckily, the feeling was mutual. (We have a video, but it is too big to load correctly. Sigh...)

We couldn't have asked for a better present to end our summer!

The Godmamas were impressed with Lucy's weaning, done almost completely without complaint, and Dad's amazing solo parenting skills, also without complaint. We were glad when Sheri came to spend a little time with us, 'cause we missed the time with the mama.

Lucy was quite impressive with her improved walking and reading skills. She knows her books well, which she demonstrated by practicing all of her animal sounds. She ate everything we had in the house--and we had more fruit that we had EVER had before!

It is quiet here now, and we miss her sweet presence, and that of her wonderful parents. So glad to have hosted y'all.

This is the Godmamas, renegade posters, signing off on our one-and-only post. We promise!

Imagine our surprise when we strolled by the blog tonight and found a post that was not of our making! Pretty sneaky, godmamas. Since you have the ability to steal passwords, we're hoping you will now log into our bank account and make some contributions there, as well.

BTW, weaning didn't take 100%...but the weekend helped us make good progress. Thanks for your hospitality, especially Nicki, who is much nicer to Lucy than Sojo is.

If Hackers had to crash the blog party it is delightful that it was the Godmamas that did it. We are jealous that anyone else knows how special our Lucy is but the word is getting out.
