Lucy had a great weekend starting with an earlier than usual arrival of the grandparents on Friday evening. Nathan and Sheri had concert tickets, so Sue and Al drove down to babysit because they are the best grandparents ever. A great night was had by all! Grandpa also tried his hand at solo babysitting this weekend while the other three napped, went shopping, and went to church. He changed diapers, played, and even fed Lucy some green beans. Poor Grandpa was exhausted at the end of the weekend!
The girl is chatty, enjoys her toys, and generally is just fun to be around. Now that she can use a restaurant highchair, she makes a mighty fine dining companion. She's also eating a few cheerios now and then (and throwing many more on the floor). Below, she has a heart to heart with her doll:

And here she is, telling us how it's going to be...

Tomorrow, Lucy plans to have some red jello at her school's Valentine's party. Hope your Valentine's Day is half that fun!
