News Flash!!
We're tricking Lucy into coming out... We went in this morning for tests and found that Sheri's amniotic fluid was low and that we need to induce today. Lucy's fine, Sheri's fine, and we've been here at the hospital for about 3-4 hours already. We left the house this morning thinking this COULD be what happens, and we packed the car with all of our stuff just in case. They've already administered the first dose of the induction drug and monitored Sheri and Lucy for 2 hours. All is fine, and now we're just waiting to see if this will do the trick and kick her into full-blown labor, or whether another dose will be needed. In the meantime, we are walking and trying to move things along (which explains how we stumbled upon the hospital computers that we're using to send this update).
We'll send more news when we can, hopefully after Lucy's here! Keep us in your prayers for a safe and speedy delivery.
Love,
Sheri & Nathan

Thanks for the update! I hope mom and Lucy are doing fine, besides the inevitable discomfort. Please keep us posted!
Thinking of you!

okay, daddy morgan, you don't really want me to have to mention how quickly daddy rosiek had pictures on the web, but i will if you force me to stoop to such low-browed tactics.
what can i say? her aunts and other admirers are ready to see her! i also said that i wasn't going to read people's personal business on blogs. i stand corrected. i cried when i "met" nellie and i am sure that i will be on both of these blogs like some kind of crazed relative!
big love from lawrence. :)

"I'd like to announce the arrival of Lucy Anne Shuler-Morgan. She was born at 1:59 a.m on Wednesday June 28th. She's 7 pounds 13 ounces and is 20.75 inches long. Mom and Lucy are both doing fine. Dad is a little punchy from lack of sleep but was last seen grinning from ear to ear while holding Lucy.
There will be more info and pictures coming shortly."
WE WANT LUCY, WE WANT LUCY! SHOW US LUCY, DAMMIT!
Well thank heavens, I was worried about the last blogpost from 3 whole days ago. Glad she came out, but who wouldn't be reluctant to embrace a world where GWB is president?

My diagnosis for delayed delivery would differ from that of my esteemed colleague in the previous post. If Lucy is anything like her parents, she will will come out scrapping for a fight with GWB and the forces of amorality, rapaciousness, arrogance, inhumanity and general stinginess of heart everywhere.
I think she preferred to keep her amazing intelligence and strength of character under wraps in the hopes of surprising her inevitable advesaries.
