We had a lovely and quiet weekend, just the three of us. The bunny remembered to pay Lucy a visit AND the girl slept in until 7:30am! Yippee!
Church was wonderful as always, with the highlight for Lucy being the kites flown indoors during the opening (Christ the Lord is Risen Today) and closing hymns (Joyful, Joyful). The weather was nice enough for an Easter egg hunt on the lawn at church during Sunday School.
Today we are grateful for new life, one example of which could be seen prominently in Sheri's new maternity dress this morning. We had a nice dinner tonight on Grandma Shirley's china and also give thanks for her life and her legacy. Happy Easter!
