Funny Friday
Lucy's class really played up April Fools Day this year, and were encouraged to dress funny and think of jokes to play on their friends.

We went all out with a mismatched outfit, goofy hair, blue fingernails, etc.

Lucy was particularly excited about wearing one rain boot and one snow boot, but my favorite part of her outfit are the monster pajama bottoms underneath her skirt.

This morning on the way to school, she called and left a message on Grandma's answering machine, saying, "guess what? I went to the dentist yesterday and I had 5 cavities! April Fools!" Then she tried to call another friend and repeat the joke, but led by saying, "I have an April Fools joke for you!" oops. Today in school, she was planning to say, "guess what? I'm going to China with my mom to visit Claire!" and then say "April Fools." (Claire is one of their school friends who is living with her grandparents in China for a few months). I can't wait to hear whether she pulled it off! Hope all is funny in your world. : )
