Happy Halloween...

from the Little Mermaid and a couple of potatoes!

The much anticipated Halloween weekend has come and gone, and Lucy still has some candy to show for it. We were invited to parties on Friday and Saturday nights, so Nathan and Sheri had to come up with costumes. We didn't exactly coordinate with the Little Mermaid very well because Nathan vetoed Lucy's suggestions that he be either King Triton or Flounder. Potatoes, okay, but fish? NEVER! Who would have thought that the union of Mr and Ms Potato head could produce a lovely mermaid?

Lucy/Ariel went back and forth on the wig. She insisted she needed it for her costume, but didn't like how it felt. Parties were spent sans wig, but she busted it out for trick o' treating. The above pic was taken shortly before heading out to trick o' treat.

And this is after...a happy mermaid girl looking a little weary with her ripped tights, droopy eyes, and post-sugar haze.
