New Season for a New Season

It's a wonderfully crisp evening and we in the SM3 are enjoying the lovely fall weather. We're also enjoying another new season...that of the next phase of Lucy's childhood. One with lots of new experiences and ACTIVITIES GALORE! On Monday evenings, you can find her dressed like this:

And on Saturday mornings, she sports a different look:

She's enjoying both activities so far, and believe it or not, there is another Lucy in her dancing class AND on her soccer team. So much for our quest to find a name that wasn't too popular...

The other day at school was "cowboy/cowgirl" day in recognition of the River City Roundup Rodeo this weekend in Omaha:

Speaking of school, here's Lucy and her schoolmate, Claire, at a recent Children's Theater performance of "Pinkalicious" (you can see that the girls are dressed according to theme):

We have a membership to the Children's Theater this year, so are looking forward to lots more great performances. Lucy's also still enjoying learning to read at school, has been having playdates, and is singing with the kids choir about once a month at church. It feels like it happened overnight that we went from toddler mode to fully engaged in the things that little girls like to do. We're having lots of fun these days. : ) Happy Fall!

I found these a few days ago, but there was some kind of error thing happening, so I could not leave a comment. But, I always come back!

These are great, as usual.
Much love.
