Cousins!
Lucy and mama took a last minute airplane trip together to meet "Baby Gabin" last Friday through Tuesday. Lucy did great on the "airpane," napping much of the time on "mama wap." Mama spent the 2+ hour flight not moving and letting body parts go to sleep for fear of waking the napping Lucy (who was VERY cranky when disturbed and forced to change positions). It's pure torture to know there's a granola bar and a bottle of water in your backpack, but you can't get it. Let's just say I had LOTS of time with my thoughts...


I absolutely love this "what the hell is next?" look on the boy's face as he's all wrapped up in his swaddle.


It was wonderful to spend time with Angel and Russ and Gavin and share in this special time with them. We also got to hang out with Geema (Lucy's updated word for Sheri's mom) and Bapa and many other relatives from Sheri's side of the family. Just 19 months ago, we were a family with 3 adult kids and their partners. Now we have two babies in the bunch and life is suddenly much more chaotic (and also much more fun).






I think you might agree that Geema and Bapa look verrrrrrry happy about their growing gang of grandkids. : )
